Jason Wu, Manhattan based fashion designer was all smiles on Thursday as he revealed his collection in a garden-spot in New York. This was done in the cheerful spirit of Resort 2010. The collection was too perfect and was indeed a treat to the eyes with colorful and trend setting costumes catching the eyes of many. In this collection, Wu has let us taste the colors of rainbow with fan-pleated skirts in bright red and green colors. He also paired these bright colors with shades of grey to give a complete and perfect look.
Wu drew these inspirations for this season’s collection from Iris Apfel. This eccentric fashion designer and textile expert and is known for his skills of mixing colors and prints. Wu has got all these ideas after seeing the exhibits og Apfel at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in the year 2006. These colorful collection indeed showed the creativity and the innovation of this expert designer and will no doubt have a great reach.
